Radio Programs

Robert Bloch co-created and wrote scripts for a syndicated radio program entitled "Stay Tuned for Terror," which was recorded in Chicago. Many of the 15 minute scripts were adaptations of his pulp stories. Unfortunately, none of the thirty nine episodes of this 1945 series is known to exist in any form. At one point, a partnership with Mercury Records would have made the episodes available on record, but sadly, that deal fell apart.

Bloch detailed his experiences in writing this show in an essay entitled "Stay Tuned for Terror," which was published in Gothism 4 (Aug 1973), and later reprinted in the collection Out of My Head.
